You will need to adjust the SC3 when you first install it (If you are setting up an SC4 the procedure is the same except every place I say CH3 it is CH4 and you check for distortion on CH5 and Ch3)
#1 To adjust attach the cable from the RF output of your DSS receiver to the CH 3 input of the SC3.
#2 Attach the off air antenna on to the ANT. IN port.
#3 Attach the "TO TV SET" port to run to all your other TV sets.
#4 Now turn on your DSS receiver (be sure it is switched to be putting out CH3 not 4) turn on your TV to CH 3 you should see what is playing on your DSS.
#5 Now turn you TV to CH 4. You will probably see a lot of distortion. To adjust away this distortion pop the grommet out of the hole just below the words "ANT. IN". You will see a small control inside. Use a thin flat screw driver to gently turn the pot as you watch CH 4 until the interference goes away. DON'T try to force it the control wont go 360 degrees.
#6 Now go back to CH 3 make sure it still looks good.
#7 Go to CH2 see how it looks.
In all cases I have never had to adjust the control under the grommet below the words "TO TV SET"
