The ZCM-48 Series includes professional quality, broadband, indoor hybrid distribution amplifiers, designed for RF distribution systems, such as apartment complexes, hospitals, schools, prisons, and hotels. These amplifiers are ideal for those RF distribution systems whose input source is a "cable drop", the output of a MAT V / S M ATV headend, or the output of a small CATV headend.

The ZCM-48 Series amplifiers provide frequency coverage of 54 to 450 or 550 MHz and have flat 50 dB of operational gain, which is variable using a built-in gain control. Variable slope control is also provided, with an available range of 10 dB. These amplifiers use a single push-pull hybrid module and discrete driver stages, capable of delivering high output levels with low distortion, even in systems with 77 channels of programming. Aseparate preamp (18 dB gain) and postamp (32 dB gain) are included with an external RF loop used to provide overall output capability.

The ZCM-48 Series products are housed in compact, aluminum chassis that provides excellent heat dissipation. This allows the ZCM-48 Series to be operated at high ambient temperatures with no degradation of performance or reliability. The ZCM-48 Series products are provided with an external UL® listed power transformer for use with 117 VAC power. The superior design of the ZCM-48 Series guarantees long service at an affordable price. These high performance hybrid amplifiers are the obvious selection when cost and performance parameters are extremely tight.
