These are 22KHz Control Multiswitches are designed to allow the reception of satellites from 2 orbital slots using multiple LNBs. A 600mV, 22KHz quasi square wave is placed on top of the 13/18VDC when the additional satellite feeds are required. These devices enable the reception of DirectV, Para Todos and HDTV feeds in a multi LNB environment.

You need to use diplexers at the receiver to separate off air from satellite signal.

They don't come with the power supply. You can add the power supply if your wire runs are over about 85 ft.

I like it better because it has an input for your other RF signal from off air or cable. This makes it easier to install because you do not need an extra external joiner to combine the modulated signals in with your other cable or off air signal.
